We as a guild FINALLY downed all the bosses in the Trial of the Crusader [10-man] run. It was epic, fun, and quite challenging for us ((we are still in the process of working through Ulduar, so this was a surprise for us)).
By far, the Faction Champions was the hardest of the fights. We wipped around 8 times on them, trying various things with us; here is how our line up was.
• Healing / Tank Pally
• Healing Druid
• Healing Druid
• Disc Priest
• Archane Mage
• Frost / Archane Mage
• Elemental Shammy
• Tank Druid
• Marksmen Hunter
• Demon Warlock
Our Champion Factions consisted of:
• Healing Druid
• Healing Shammy
• ?? Warrior ((duel wielding))
• ?? Warlock
• ?? Pally
Mainly, we focused on trying to take down the druid. With two mages, we were able to sheep the Shammy down for a few seconds each time; so we had one mage focused just on doing that while we took down the druid. Once Hand of Protection was cast onto the Druid when his health got low, we then cast Heroism, and just pumped the DPS onto him; finally downing him.
We then turned our sights onto the Shammy itself. This one wasn't has hard, just too longer to down due to all the self healing and protections that priest was throwing out; but we all stayed up for this.
After that, they all fell quite fast; the Pally was our next target; and once he bubbled, I dispelled so we could continue with our onslaught; then the Warlock and he Priest went down.
For this entire fight, I didn't heal at all. We had two druid heals who did all the healing, and he pally tank swapped to healing for those massive single heals. I spend the entire fight simply using Mass Dispel; especially at the beginning. That was quite hectic.
Once they were down, the last two bosses weren't that hard. Whipped once on the twins while trying to get everyone use to the swapping of vortexes; and whipped once on that giant bug at the end due to simple error. But each time, we got up, dusted ourselves off, an continued on.
Sorry to say I didn't get any screenshots of us at the end. :( by that time, it was really early in the morning, and we all departed for bed. So hopefully, next week we can all do it again and I'll get some screenshots of it.
